Training Description

Class 1 - January 18, 2023

After having learned about loose parts, participants will now learn about how children play and the meaning behind the repetitive behaviors (schemas). In doing so, participants will be able to see behaviors as natural parts of development where they can support the development through exploration and play, rather than seeing the behavior as negative. They will then make connect loose parts to schemas.

Learning outcomes

1. Identify play schemas

2. Connect LP to behaviors observed

Training Description

Class 2 - February 15, 2023

Our Play PDs (20 hours) culminates with a Share Fare. Participants will end with creating an intentional, continual plan for periods of observation and data collection.

Learning outcomes
